well here we go,this is a little insight into the wild and often funny world of me.im 37,and currently living with my partner,and her son.weve been together for 5 years now,and we have been through an awful lot in that time.first of,she has got hepititus c,which she was given by her ex-husband.secondly,she cannot understand the pleasure of sitting in the rain.woman,they know nothing.as i write this,we have had a good day.by this i mean,no arguements,a good walk with the dog,and then me cooking a nice bit of grub.sounds stupid,but this means a great deal to us. this winter will see a big change for me,as i will no longer be fishing the angling times winter league,for the same team as i have been in the past four years.i felt that i needed a new challange,and as i still fish with most of my old team mates on a regular basis,every thursday night. im moving to a new,sponsered team,and i hope that this will make me a better angler.well only time will tell,but i think im doing the right thing.nothing ventured,nothing gained.anyway,this is just a quick glimpse of the mind of my other half.before we moved in together,i had my own flat,which had a commanding view of the road it was situated on.one day she was looking out of the window,when she started shouting at me"quick ade,look,look!!" "whats the matter?" i asked. " theres about 20 SALAMIS running up the road,chasing another one!!"....at this point my attention was definately attracted."did i hear you right?" i asked her. "yes,about 20 of em,them salamis from over the road bridge!" then this is the killer bit,on the telly came a pepperami advert.i fell about the place laughing ,and couldn't stop for about 10 minutes.my other half couldn't see the funny side of it.not until i pointed out that she mean't to say somalis,and not salamis!!!! now you see what im up against!!!!

Posted 12th September 2008 at 07:45 PM by creepy well my weekly thursday night matches,are almost finished,as we have only one more match left in the series.i can do no better than fifth i think,as i have had some right stinkers.still thats the joy of fishing i guess.i have managed two wins,in the ten match series,and last night was the second one.i have only been matching properly for about four years now,and i still have a great deal to learn.but im very fortunate to be fishing with some of the kindest and skilled anglers around.the sivell brothers,pete...
