Hi everyone.

April's competition was extremely tight, as you know it was to guess the weight of my 6 days catch in Ireland this year.

2 blanks bought the total down and cost those in the 180lb range, I finished with a total of 154lb exactly.

The winners in a competiton that had over 160 entrants -

Look at this for a close call!!! There were 12 anglers within 5lb but these guys got the closest.


1st - Champion Poleman - 154lb 7oz
2nd - WCA - 153lb 7oz
3rd - Crockski - 154lb 10oz

Simon well done in Ireland especially on your first day result at Boa Island. I did intend to introduce myself this year but never got the chance, mainly down to my usual crap draws, best result was C24 on the second day and 11kg from E17 Sat open. Shame about your second day draw that really cost you. See you next year on the next peg H8/H9 would be nice.

I'm up your way Sat August 16th on a British Aerospace National (team event) at Lindholme, Bonsai and Oasis. Any help would be much appreciated (any members).

Peg 13 pop up a thread on the venues advice section, several of the lads are regulars at Lindholme, and a good number recently fished the Big Bash charity match there.
