Rive the match isnt untill the end of August
billylowe and Ian right now we just need names as per the first post in this thread, no one has been ignored
Ian Im not saying we dont need them Im saying dont go booking hotels right now, I wouldnt want to be responsable for non refunded deposits if people dont make the team, if you read through the thread I posted above "the southern anglers role call" there is a huge chance we will be over subscribed for this event, and we are now thinking of other events to get everyone on the bank.
This was fired up early in hope we could avoid the situation we had last year, where I was running around the night before looking for anglers, it has given us the oppertunity to have a bigger pool of interested anglers, and as you will see from the other thread there has been lots of interest.

Paul i only wondered as to who the team was, because you have yourself down and Le-Mo.
I am sure Le-mo will be fishing for the midland Squad, as thats where he lives.

sure tony I know what you mean, snowy has shown some interest too as well as 1 or 2 other guys from up your way.
I dont see why location should really hinder any matches people fish I travel up to the midlands a lot as you know and I would like to be considered for the midlands matches
the main point is to get a good idea of who is prepared to fish as early as possible, its about time we put a more serious stamp on our team fishing, this year we may even have a practice, match to get to know the faces behind the names and to throw a few ideas about.
You may well have noticed Steve Lockett has taken on board the south west region If we get this right we shoiuld have a few good TA opens organised sometime soon south, south east and south west.

I have been approached by Total Fishing Club asking to take part in THIS years intersite series. They have already told me they plan to fish ALL area Intersite matches. This is the Members only side if the Total Fishing website and with a subscription fee is open to all.
In view of the problems Gaz had with allowing an additional team to enter the Northern match I am looking for the thoughts from all the sites that normally fish before comfirming. I have been told by the TFC contact that they have already canvassed opinion from other sites and informed me there was no objections raised. Over to you.
Can the Talk Angling captain make contact please as I need to now collect the entry money for the Southern Match which is £120 per team.
Vince

Firstly Vince if you drop your address to me in a pm or email I will forward the entry fee by return.
As for other teams entering I can't speak for TA but from a personal perspective the more the better, as long as your ok with the organising of this, and the other regional organisers are too, and they comply with the current intersite rules. I would love to see this a 100 pegger but doubt that would ever happen
However some of the venues that are alkready booked may not be able to be extended on, this may cause some issues.
This whole intersite thing seems to have blown up this year I have seen many threads on many forums stirring up a hornets nest about all this,
This site is going to take the place of that site etc etc also the western is going to be on Viaduct in April yet we have had no official announcement and April is 2 weeks away.
We had no canvassing here about TFC, I'am a member of TFC there was a few posts in a hijacked thread about fishing the southern which just faded away, never see anything else about joining the intersite series ?.
What I think would be the sensible thing to do here is have all those sites new and old that want to fish the intersite series next year say so now so it can be organised, its just getting too late in the day for you guys organising to start rebooking and changing things.
By the way thats my thoughts and may not be that of Talk Angling

the trouble with most sites and i include us is we are individuals not clubs, no aims, no constitutions,if its not sorted it will be lost and a great series of matches will disappear.
oh and can i put a team in
