The overall top 4 was:

Pole Killer TA....33.0
Vince Atkinson AF.31.4
missabite MD......29.10

I have literally just unloaded my tackle and had a quick sandwich, following what has been a long day, well I was up at around 5-30 this morning, the full results will be published tomorrow, but basically we came dead last, not a disgrace by anymeans loosing to a hand picked Total Fishing team that was full of class acts, my few points gained for Angling Forums put us in that position, but It is not life and death and I only need to fish for Maggot Drowners to have done the full set
Total Fishing 31 points
Maggot Drowners 24 points
Angling Forums 23 Points
Talk Angling 22 Points
We did however have a few successes on the day with Polekiller taking second place and section prize momey wins for Spongebob and Draymen so well done to them
I will endeavour to do a fuller write up tomorrow.

Well done to all those that turned up, at the end of the day as long as you learn from those around you it is worth it. Very well done to polekiller, spongebob and drayman good results lads. As ever good one brian for organising the match and as ever sacrificing yourself for another forums team, one day you will get to fish for TA .

Brian , we were in a poor section , I fished for total fishing & won your section , but more importantly we all had a laugh , it was either laugh or cry it was that bad .
Roll on next year when we can all have another laugh , some teams take things too seriously , not me , I just enjoy fishing and helping fellow anglers when I can.

Thanks lads for the compliments much appreciated, and its right Winning is not everything, and the getting together of the sites is great, as is being able to put a face to a name, I must say that although the venue did not fish brilliantly it has the makings of a fine venue in a year or two when them baby fish have grown a bit, pity they did not run the island along the length of the pool though. The silver pool looks superb and is on my list for a sesssion with the grandson next month.
I have started to do write up today but the grandkids have been here and they comandeer the old PC got a few piccys to put on as well.

Brian , the silver lake is very good , loads of small roach , lots of small tench and a few cracking 1 - 2lb roach .
If you do go I would suggest worm & caster on deck at 3 - 4 meters & a shallow caster line at about 8 meters .
Great day yesterday by the way , already looking forward to next one
Keith
