There has been other forums competing at intersites in the past, i was at a western intersite 3 years ago where there where two welsh forums competing. Anglers cabin are a good bunch of lads, many of whom don't even fish club matches on a regular basis. Tell you what though they will field a team of ten without fail.

We had a chat after the match and a fair few where happy with the idea of langwith. It has to be the best venue in the north with every peg in and the fact that it is booked a year in advance says it all, if I hadn't have acted quickly in booking it we would have got it.

I think you are all losing sight of the fact that this is a friendly competion, not to be taken seriously, the more the merrier I say!

what you say doesnt really mattter i have no problems with you booking and running it but it has to be done democratically on all forums there are regional organizers and normally its selected between them all........and some times an open vote on the forums .The intersites has been going a good few years now why change things....

this is not a post attacking you all my point is ....is that all forums are consulted before actions are taken.

So do we know if a consensus has been reached on this issue?

There will no doubt be discusions at the Individual Intersite as to the 2009 series, i will see that the question is raised.

Looking on MD forum it looks like this local lot think there in, and the new MFS are asking if they can fish it.

Personally i think the more the merrier for the craic, but if there only coming cos its an easy buck then thats a no no

All that it means is you would be fishing against venue regulars, cant see how a small area based forum can entertain fishing all the matches, so for me its a no no

as the match is late august then a proviso could be they can take part as long as they have attended all intersite matches previous. however that only works if all other forums have also adhered to the same rule and attended all matches. kind of puts a few sites on the spot

Yes anyone wishing to join must field a full team at all intersite matches.
