Right, just spoken to them and here it is -

We can keep the original date of 29th August 2009 (Saturday)

We have the option of fishing either Poplars or Maple Lake as we need a minimum of 40 pegs.

Cost wise, I presume the peg fee per person would be the same as a normal day ticket which i think is £6 or maybe £7.

However if we want the whole of either lake rather than just 40 pegs, it'll obviously cost a bit more

Maple - Whole Lake (68 pegs) £440 or £11 per person
Poplars - Whole Lake (55 pegs) £340 or £8.50 per person.

Alternatively we can just book 40 pegs on either lake although it will be peg to peg.

What are your thoughts?? For me we could book one of the whole lakes and go from there. Which lake would you think would be better? And do you think that The Oaks would give us some preferential pricing based on the fact that the match will be all over 4 of the biggest forums.

I think if you ask anyone up there which of the two lakes you'd be better fishing, most would say maple, and my vote would also sway towards this lake too although a good day can also be had on Poplars.

So if we were to go on Maple it would also offer you 28 spare pegs instead of the 15 on poplars so you'd have much more room and you could leave out some of the not so hot pegs.

Not sure about the preferential pricing but it certainly wont do any harm in asking. I probably wont be fishing this weekend and therefore can't speak to anyone face to face so it may have to be next weekend before i can discuss pricing.

Do the other sites even still want us to run the northern leg??? I am up for doing it along with Steve but we need to be sure all the other site would like it doing.
