I live 8 miles from Donny so we will have no problem filling that round and I used to live down south so that round we could fill any spare places no problem. As for getting a venue near you Paul - suggest one and lets get it on the list.

I'm fairly new to the site but would be willing to fish matches centrally and east of england, work allowing.
Also the Rolph's match filled up with 30 anglers pretty quickly (and i presume a lot of travelling for most) and a reserve list, so surely we can raise 15 anglers for the intersite matches.

the reason it filled up so quick is that its at Rolfe's. Everybody gets 100lb, except Andy222 of course!!

Not knocking the excellent attendance for the Rolfs match, but if push came to shove my guess is that around thirteen of those who are down to fish that match would be likely to fish for other forums rather than TA. Fred is also correct that the venue is also another reason that that match is sold out, I along with most who are going would like at least a ton Rolfs gives us all a chance of that.
Hopefully along with the upsurge in Talk Angling, we shall find a few more who will want to represent TA, and along with a decent set of venues inline with WCA proposals we shall see us competing over all the legs and not just a Midlands based one.

A lot of people will be unhappy then Brian as even in The Summer it is still possible to struggle at Rolfs.
It's not the easy water people think.
There will be MORE people with LESS than 100lb than there are WITH 100lb.
But it is VERY WELL RUN and needs to be experienced to understand.

There will be seeing as the Jinx is fishing , I did say have a chance at a ton, rather than guaranteed a ton, Rolfs of course is a little bit different to other fishes as I understand it, due to it not being a day ticket water, so its only by fishing a match there that we can experience it.
Myself my aspirations on any match are limited to doing the best I can out of my peg, and most importantly enjoy the day.
