Eric your wish is my command, plus it will not suit me to have clashes, I am working on the civils match list now but if you said the last Sunday of the month you wont be far wrong, the exception being August because thats a bank holiday, obviously that would need ratifying at committee and by the AGM

We try to get it sorted by end of January at the latest, as soon as I have my club matches sorted I can get working on the Midlands and possibly the Western legs. The Southern leg is sorted by Vince off Maggot Drowners.

i might be wrong but im sure that i read some were on md's that after the last southern match at monks, that vince had booked it up again for next year. Like i say i may be wrong but it would be worth a giving vince a pm on md's then if he as a date you'll have all the dates apart from the 2 that are organised from this site.

as previously stated its a democratic thing .ME all sites concerned are approached and then decisions are announced and normally voted on/for

Hi guys,
I haven't booked the Southern Match yet but I was thinking of booking Monk Lakes again. I know it didn't fish well last year, but I think something wasn't quite right on the day. It certainly hasn't fished that bad since. Everyone seemd happy with the venue so it was more or less agreed that I should re-book.
I'll have a chat with the fishery in the next few days and see what dates they have free.
