OK, so I can see we are not going to get the proper intersite series extended in its current guise as its hard enough to organise the 4 or 5 matches as it is! What I am talking about is perhaps setting up a league table where sites have matches against each other in local areas, for example we had a match near me against Yorkshire Match Anglers forum and we managed to get 9 on the bank so it made a nice little challenge match. There must be absolutely tons of these smaller local forums that we could take on in a series of small challenges and make things interesting... just my thoughts.

Sorry to come accross a bit thick and arrogant but what is this intersite thingy and do you have any in the northwest, Is it just for pole and match boys or do carpers get a look in. I am a member on a carp forum and I think I could rustle up a team for the NW of england if anyones interested or there is room,

Hi carpmark the intersite matches are as they sound its a match normally over 5 or 6 hours between TA, TF, MD's and angling forum. There is a north, south, east and west match, i think the north match for 2009 is in yorkshire run by some one of maggot drowners.

There may be another angling web site "match fishing scene" which seems to be mainly users from the TF site. One of there threads about intersite matches indicates they could be fishing under the angling forums banner this year and go solo next year.

so far as i can see the south and north are booked. just the west and midlands to go. as for the west venue viaduct fisheries looks a popular choice amongst the west boys. just need an organiser to put his head above the parapet.

I would be more than happy to make the trip down west for the viaduct match as I would happily travel up to the midlands sadly the North is a bit far I did consider it last yerar as a last minute replacement but it was just a tad too far,

As far as the south goes the response thus far is as expected obviously things will change nearer the date but I noticed a lot from the south west put there names forward for the south these guys need a match this year and we should pull out all the stops to see it come off

roland lucas the individual champion 2008 has offered to run the western intersite at viaduct he just needs some idea of who the hell he reports to. do we have an intersite co-ordinator.

What Oneabung says top of page 2 seems like a good idea, these various web forums have there core group of people but lots of people surf them all, getting a few more events organised involving smaller area groups from different sites would be good in my opinion and help get some cross site rivalry and banter going.
