I honestly dont see what the problem is, lets take two years ago we competed over all five legs of the intersite and only on two legs did we field a full team of TA guys in fact at Barford there was me and Andy222 and eight other bods, last year we competed in just the Midlands leg only just when it was 15 a team, mind you TA was running it and it was at Heronbrook, the remaining matches were pulled out of with no more than 4 anglers showing any interest to fish for TA
This year we have just filled teams for 3 out of the four with just Hillview being the exception with a surplus of potential anglers, Ok we put the Emails out and get enough to fill the South and North legs thats called being pro-active now it seems that that is wrong, I say its absolutely the right way forward, and only by attracting good anglers can we go forward as a site, even TF put the call out for the likes of Giles Cochrane to fish for them so why should we not do the same.
In the terms of non intersite matches they are really no different to opens in their concept, and it is difficult to exclude someone who has simply not previously posted, some venues would also drive anglers to join up as with the case of Rolfs, a similar venues like the Glebe / Mallory Park would have the same effect and see anglers joining up just to get on a match there, but in truth we have made tremendous progress in twelve months in both the Intersite and other matches which in 2006 there were non.
