I have sent the results in to the mail.

Who do perry and Mark fish for?

It will be in the mail under TA but for points they may need the team they normally fish for

very true Simon............i actually think there should be somewhere thats states ACTIVE members and also a qualifying period of 12 ...6... months it can be frustrating to see people join and fish straight away same as non active members who get there name down for matches and don't post.......oh for an ideal world

Question intersite qualification

i thought about it along teepots thinking regular site users rather than signing up just to get on but only reservation would be this year the southern match was struggling for a team do we fish short or make entry flexible.

absolutely right CT.........BUT it will be a struggle next year trust me, even the mighty AT cant get a team....all forums have struggled.....i am not sure what it is but not sure it has the attraction it used to...i for one will not be fishing any next year (some may say not a loss ) but i was a bum on a seat i have fished with /for Total fishing on matches and talk angling on intersites.. and spent a lot of money my choice so have decided to carry on with the bashes and polepots rolfs get togethers and probably any Brian G organises thats me for next year

On that basis I would be fishing Hillview instead of Teepot. But "c'est la vie!!"

I honestly dont see what the problem is, lets take two years ago we competed over all five legs of the intersite and only on two legs did we field a full team of TA guys in fact at Barford there was me and Andy222 and eight other bods, last year we competed in just the Midlands leg only just when it was 15 a team, mind you TA was running it and it was at Heronbrook, the remaining matches were pulled out of with no more than 4 anglers showing any interest to fish for TA
This year we have just filled teams for 3 out of the four with just Hillview being the exception with a surplus of potential anglers, Ok we put the Emails out and get enough to fill the South and North legs thats called being pro-active now it seems that that is wrong, I say its absolutely the right way forward, and only by attracting good anglers can we go forward as a site, even TF put the call out for the likes of Giles Cochrane to fish for them so why should we not do the same.
In the terms of non intersite matches they are really no different to opens in their concept, and it is difficult to exclude someone who has simply not previously posted, some venues would also drive anglers to join up as with the case of Rolfs, a similar venues like the Glebe / Mallory Park would have the same effect and see anglers joining up just to get on a match there, but in truth we have made tremendous progress in twelve months in both the Intersite and other matches which in 2006 there were non.

Putting e-mails out for anglers isn't pro-active it was an act of desperation. Its galling when e-mails are sent out inviting anybody with a user name to fish on those legs but for Hillview a team is picked by a self appointed ( Not even the captain) administrator. Hardly fair when anglers who have supported the site for years and expressed a wish to fish back in January are deemed 'not good enough' for the TA squad.

There were 12 TA matches for members not including the Intersites in 2004

Cant lay my hands on my diary's for 2002, 2003 /2005 but there were at least the same maybe more in these years too.

2007 Hardly a year of tremendous progress were matches are concerned.

my decision not to fish any inter sites next year is not a protest ...in fact if i can help with any of the organizing i will gladly do it its purely a personal thing .. i am also with drawing from total fishing after October so will not be fishing any of there matches i have enjoyed my spell with them and meet some unbelievable people and learned a terrific amount as i have on TA.....but its my intention to pleasure fish and as i stated earlier just fish the bashes
