Default Team Selection for Intersite Matches

Given that the response to date is favourable for the so far announced matches, how do we pick our team, do we as in the past use a draw system, do we choose a captain for each leg and give him the opportunity to select a team, eitherway I think its important that the teams be announced as early as possible to allow those selected to arrange for days off work if needed and those not selected to book into another match or take the missus out
Eitherway we will all know what we are doing and hopefully there will be no fallouts.
Nows your chance to have a say so why not vote.

However the team is decided, it needs to be done quickly. I and many others on TA are also Maggot Drowners & TF members ( haven't posted on TF for years though ) so could fish for any of them.
A cut off date must be given for entries to enable people who want to fish the event and are not selected to make themselves available to another team.
Can you represent more than 1 team in the series?
I personally don't see why not, I believe it's happened previously.

It will be sooner rather than later but as the only two confirmed dates are the Midlands a Western legs both of which are 5/6 months away I think that decision could be taken in around a months time.
Larry Teepot I am sure someone will be a man short come the day so if anyone is there for the day it pays to take their gear TA has in the past used members of other forums rarther than use ringers, in fact we dropped out several last year for that reason.

Its nothing to do with me because if i can fish any i will be fishing for MD's but i think teams should be picked on where the anglers are located.

I'll explain why i think that.

Last year some of the MD lads travelled from Teeside to wales to fish the Western round and to Heronbrook to fish the Midlands round, the northern leg was full so names were put into the hat and two of them did not get drawn so could not fish their "home" round which i think is a bit out of order.

only my veiws for what they are worth.

Depends on how serious u feel about the event. Wanna win then pick a captain who picks the anglers who he thinks will beat the oppostion or are good on a particular venue. Fish for the craic then pick a team @ random from those available.
