I can't see that for once in a while the match can't be a little further south, and apart from anything else EVERYONE will catch a decent bag of fish unlike Willow for the past 2 years.

I'm sorry if it has upset anyone by holding the match at Monks but don't knock it till you've been and tried the place, I believe you will be very pleasantly surprised.
vince you,ve upset no one monks is a damm good venue ( its a 280 mile round trip) but if i did,nt want to go i would,nt. question is are you taking names for the TA team and if so could you add mine to the list. i ask this because i notice other sites gathering team members ( AF).

As organiser of the Southern Intersite match for 2008 I have received a couple of e/mails asking whether it is possible to increase the number in a team to 10 rather than 8 as it is felt that most sites will have quite a few wanting to fish. Having spoken to the fishery I have provisionally booked extra pegs to cover the increase but of course need confirmation that this OK with your team.
The cost per angler would remain at £12 per angler.

Please can you let me know as soon as possible whether you are happy for the increase to go ahead so that I can confirm the pegs or cancel them as appropriate
