i've got extentsive knowledge of the k&a in general and have drawn the first pound above the bridge about 8years ago! it was crap! tell me wot you know?

i will let the local stars answer that one. (slider) as i think the pound has been netted and refilled since then. when i fished the k&a that pound was for pike anglers and kids. 8 years ago the k&a did,nt have the skimmers its got now even at marlbourgh. ive seen the results from the devizes matches and all i can say is bloody hell. one angler had more fish than a whole match used to catch 10 years ago. my knowledge is 15 years out of date so im not the one to ask, although the people i fish with tell me its the best fishery around our way by a long shot.

sorted ray this friday. meet at the top of cain hill 08.45. ( go up cain hill dual c/way into the 30mph area past the spar shop and garage , as the road bends left over the canal turn right into avonvale road and park up .look out for a belingo van ( white). i,m the one eating a sausage and bacon sandwich.

got a bit of advice about this match stretch.......he said fish it down the far shelf with a waggler and caster.Are we going to fish different methods on friday and see which one produces best results.
