Seriously, plenty of fish are being caught on both lakes, pellet, paste, corn and meat all doing well. Of course you can always use the Maggot approach shown in the angling press lately

Well im good to go and will be there for 8am too I taking it brekkie is available on site

anyone know iof I need to bring a pole to this venue I have a freind who can lend me an 8m peizon michele its 20 yrs old but he says its good

Maybe a little uncalled for, but the reason I would imagine was not so much ringers but a need for names, An example of this is Im going to Monks in 4 days time to fish a team match with a team of, Curtains yourself and Fred Thats only 4, we seem a tad short, its very difficult in the first place when you havnt met people from TA, to not even know names makes the task even harder on the day.

I have asked for the team list on 3 or 4 occasions in this thread not to be funny sarcastic or anything else , I like to to see all the I's dotted and T's crossed and just so I have half a chance of finding you guys on the day, its not an unreasonable request in my opinion, and if we are still short its not too late to get some assistance although the days are disapearing fast.

anyway thanks for the advice on the pole front guys , I picked one up last night its very heavy
Im not sure if I will be able to see my float that far away 8metres is very long.
I like the punn Curtains well used

Oh and as for saturday I will be the tall blonde fat guy wearing a black and lumo green TA, T shirt that looks like he just spent the last two weeks going round on a spit
