Default another funny story

me and my mate were at sandall park again when a young angler asked me to help him tie on his hook so i did and when i got back wayne was in stiches laughing and wouldnt say why until i came across two bank sticks in the ground where my rod was, and a rod floating around the pond.
in which case i had to strip of and swim out to get my rod back as nothing else worked.
while i was swimming back the police turned up and fined me for swimming in the pond and indecent exposure even tho i was wearing my boxers!!!!

Bad form by the police there, were you meant to swim out in all your clothes and drown or just watch your rod be dragged around the pond by some poor fish?

I'd challenge it if i were you, chances are the officers wont waste a day to turn upto court for a bloke swimming out in his boxers to get a rod back, if they do.......nice to know they are doing somthing usfull with their time instead of catching real crooks

You where lucky an E.A warden didn't turn up as well, you would also have got a fine for leaving a rod in the water unattended.
