Red face Fur & Feather

A good few year ago, our local club were running thier annual fur & feather. One of the regular match angler was pegged next to a young lad new to the club and hadn't fished many matches. As the match progressed, the young lad kept an eye on what was happening on the next peg. He would ask "what was that", every time the regular match angler droped a fish into his net.The replies would be "that was a roach" or "that was a skimmer" with 1/2 a hour left to go in the match and things looking tight for the top spot. The regular match angler hook into a better fish and with his rod bent into a 4lb carp the young lad ask "what's that"? The reply came as quick as a flash "It,s a 12lb Turkey Mate".
