rive t i dont go out my way to blow smoke into the next peg the end of the day if you dont like i carnt help that
i have been quite reserved about this topic but certain digs at smokers are in my eyes uncalled for
if smokers want to smoke let them smoke
if we want to kill our selves then so be it passive smoking has not been proven to have killed any one yet there are more pressing things in todays world that needs addressing

I can appreciate your views, that there are more pressing issues in the world right now, but we as anglers can do nothing about them, this is one issue we can actually contribute to

My views are obviously right over your heads, as you all do not want to change a system that is flawed.

I have started to send a number of letters to various fisheries. I hope they will see the bigger picture and will install a months trial of smoke free match's(which i have suggested).

On all these smoke free match's there will of course be an alternative to cigarettes, as i have been in touch with the Nicorrette organization, and they have been good enough to supply there Nicorrette Gum,

Thats not strictly true, as Anglers there are many issues we could be seen to do more on, pollution and fish theft are two that spring to mind.

You have a right to express your opinions and veiws, I personally don't think your veiws are over anyones heads they are though just your veiws, but you need to realise smokers have there own veiws and they need to be respected as well..

At the end of the day its good to see someone follow through on a personal belief like this, Im not so sure it would work long term,

I know from a personal stand point I wouldn't go to matches where smoking is banned, and Im sure you wouldnt attend a match for smokers only.
The only thing this would acheive is a split in the angling community.

Guys, I have been accepted into the Dragons Den. All I want is £250,000 for a 5% stake in my company that sell's mobile extractor fans, these can be easily assembled in a very short space of time giving the angler plenty of time to set his tackle up, they are very adaptable so they can be fitted on every alternate peg if need be. They have a 2,000 RPM motor which filters the smoke rendering it harmless to the man in the next peg and also the enviroment which is the big plus side of the SUCK it and SEE range we are currently working on. We have had our teething problems with the first model as Anglers with toupees were getting their hair off with them, but we seem to have mastered the problem and we are confident that the SUCK it and SEE will prove to be a winner with anglers around the world. One big plus factor is we have the support of Greenpeace. So come on you Dragons make me an offer I can't refuse.

nice one weldec i like that a lot

talking of greenpeace, some of you are worried about a bit of smoke and banning it from lakes, just think, you may not have a lake to fish on if they turn their attention to fishing and they deam it as cruel
they did it with hunting and everyone said it would never go through but it did so dont you think you should focus on something that could effect us all

This is the reason we should be seen policing our own problems. We as a body can use this smoking problem as a way of deflecting other issues.
