And who is going to police it. I would like to see police officers on the street's dealing with all the louts, drug dealers etc. Could the environment agency police it, as they do such a good job with all the fish thefts. Fishery owners they are going to love all the lost business, just look at how many pubs are closing down.

And working for the Council they are going to love this one, as thousands of local government jobs are allready being lost. I think to police it, they should increase tax on new and used cars as they choke the atmosphere more.

rive t end of the day every has their own thoughts and veiws to smoking
i for one am a smoker and trying to quit
but to try and ban smoking on the bank in my eyes is just not going to happen
ban smoking on the bank and well watch the number of people not bother with fishing
fishing is a time to relax and let your hair down
what did you do before the smoking ban was introduced into pubs not go to that pub?
i think not

Why do so many smoking anglers think it's OK to loose feed stub ends or just throw them on the ground?

Cars are a necessity,as we all know, but smoking is just a vile habit that is killing all of you smokers. You put extreme pressures on hospital resources, with smoke related illness's, home care, etc.
I am just trying to help you all, by taking away your right to smoke in fishing matches
In the long run it may help you all to pack the lousy unsociable habit up

I hate people somking wilst i am trying to eat in a pub or a restaurant but you can't ban people from somking everywhere especially out side. As Bad. Boy said if you want to get people into somthing like a sport you can't make up so many rules they get put off.

Rive

Every weekend there are thousands of anglers killing themselves its called fry ups, my tax is paying for them to go to doctor's to tell them to loss weight, when they should have the brains to eat the right things in the first place. If smoking is banned and we want fishing to sell itself as a healthy past time then we should start with that.
