Many a good doggy bag ruined by the smoke at the buffet the night before.
Always hated the smoking in pubs - all I got was sore eyes & stinking clothes & the odd bird with bad breath (if I was lucky).

Anyway as big an 'indoor' anti-smoker as I am I must admit to actually liking the odd waft of smoke drifting my way on a cold day on the bank, especially if it's cigar smoke.
I never believed the smoking ban would really be introduced... but glad it has been - think an indoor ban is as far as it needs to go though ?

bri have to agree with what you have said above you are right.. if rive t wants i can get him some cotton mask's from work he can use them when he fish's the next match if he wants then he will not small the smoker's next to him like they wear in London when they are biking around the city.......lol......

What constitutes a ban on smoking from the peg next to you, what evidence is there on the percentage of smoke inhaled by a fellow angler pegged either side of you, do you wash your hands every time you eat whilst fishing, i'm sure the health risks involved are far greater than inhaling smoke from the next peg. So dont worry about the bloke in the next peg smoking, be a little more concerned about the rats running around under your feet and all the bacteria you will come in contact with during your session.

By the way I dont smoke as I find the whole concept of smoking utterly revolting.
