Alf and Ethel are both in their 90's and Alf is on his death bed, he turns to Ethel and says "we have been married 70 years and through thick and thin you have been by my side".

Ethel says "aye thats true"

Alf says " remember when we both got bombed out of our house during the war, you were still by my side"

Ethel says "aye thats true"

Alf says " remember when we put all our savings into that business and we went bust and lost all our money and house and ended up in this grotty council house for the last 50 years, and you still stayed by my side"

Ethel says "aye thats true aswell"

Alf says " and do you remember when i got this awful disease and i havent been able to work or get out of bed for almost 20 years, and you were still by my side"

Ethel says "aye thats true"

Alf says " and here i am on my deathbed with a few hours to live and yet again you are still by my side"

Ethel says "aye thats true"

Alf says " you know what Ethel ?"

Ethel says " what Alf love ? "

Alf says " your a f**king jinx
