I find the storm rods do work well, however I've only got two adaptors on my brolly though, and they are not always in the right place. Would be best if there was an adaptor on each spoke to give you more options.

Its basically a screw thread hinged to the end of the brolly spoke and you can screw a bankstick on to it.
They come already attached to the brolly. I must admit I didnt know I had them until one day I was sitting fishing in the rain, and suddenly spotted the adaptor dangling down in front of me.

Hi Weldec,
Those are storm caps they fit onto the spokes of your brolly and you fit the storm rods to them. I have got them fitted every other spoke on the brolly to give me various points to attatch the storm rods to, The storm rods are basically strong extending banksticks that Carp anglers use.
I normally only use 2 storm rods and when you have it set up it is solid.I hope this helps if I can be any further help just ask.
Mark
