had a conversation about baits the other day and was told about fishing just the white from hemp (without the black shell ) anyone else ever done this and what results?

Yes it is a particularly deadly method larry but very very fiddly to hook the buggers! I used it on the Leeds Liverpool canal a few years back and it did get you bites quicker aganst the stickups.

Yes i agree with Simon its very fidly and comes off easily but is deadly at times have done well when using it with punch crumb
