floating baits or not,the remedy is simple make it your club rule to ban them or whatever.then fish to the decision you have made official,

your best bet is fishing about half a foot to a foot deep from a mini float and using sinking bread...you wont be fishing on the bottom and wont be fishing on the top...and keep changing your depth untill you find where abouts in the water the fish are.
