there is now different thinking on this as will raison admits to having his 'pingy' i prefer to fish lighter elastics but under a little bit of tension because i constantly have sticking problems when using the creep back in method. always lubricate but still not happy . is there a fool proof system outthere.??

of getting them & im wondering do they stay put inside the topkits when fitted?.I had sticking problems with a pole years ago & adapted a large ptfe
internal bush by making it fit the bottom of the no1(tele),so i had 2 ptfe bushes in the short no1 section-top & bottom.It worked brilliant with elastic
through the top2.This might work for you.
