hi has anyone got any good venues they know for me to book next year.i live at doncaster so maybe 1 hour drive is ok.i need about 20 pegs to be matched up for our club and was looking to get fair venues ie silverfish waters,carp,mixed,etc to make it as fair as possible thanks

Try Willowgarth at Arksey, contact Stu Ward on 07738291469 - a brilliant little venue stuffed with silver fish and odd carp, everyone gets bites all day. Tell him Simon Young gave you the number.

2 lakes at Candy Corner Hosker which hold a big stock of ide bream and carp and ajs which is a 40 pegger and hold some big carp

thanks geoff fished that last year and will book it again on strength its a good venue and he posts all results on net.what about lakeside,the oaks or woodhouse have you fished them new to this booking lark just taken over secretary job and looking for new venues thanks............

lakeside at ranskill is a top venue fished it this year and its a good mix of silver fish and carp i also fished woodhouse grange and enjoyed that but have your breakfast some were else

thanks booked lakeside looks very good on net,agree with breakfast thing phoned a mate and he ordered a breakfast and was 10 mins too late and laddo had chucked it in bin and nearly barred him.....thanks

Lodge farm, we fished the signal which is not the best lake on the place but everyone caught if you can get on try the field lake looks similar but a lot better stamp of fish. Also try Messingham (osprey lake) its Paul's the bloke that owns the cafe and if full of small carp our lads really enjoyed it you will catch 100s of small carp so it keep you busy.
