Thumbs up

Hair rigged Luncheon meat, with hemp and casters in your feeder.
Let us know how you get on.

Meat isnt as effective on the severn now, 8mm pellet is what i scored best on last season and the few times i've been on this season. 4mm in the feeder and either single or double 8mm on hair rig or band whichever your preferance is. Depening on how many you are catching 3 pints of pellet should see you well safe of not running out. 10mm pellet can catch though, my freind won the bridgnorth open with over 100lb saturday using 10mm pellet, i'd go no bigger than that though.

I've had some decent success just recently with monster crab boiles, i fish alot just above bewedly. I feed 4mm pellets in the feeder with some halibut groundbait and switch between the boiley and 12mm pellet. I wouldn't fish to light either the barbel are really having it at the moment. A mobile approach could be better, i'm sure whatever tree you put it under or likely looking run you'll have a few. The fish are quite hollow as you would expect at the moment but they fight no less harder. GOOD LUCK and let us know how you got on.
