I lay a 3 inch piece of yellow number 8 alongside the tip end of the laggy, then it's like a 3 turn water knot, wet and slide tight very carefully so it stays even.

Rigs are dead easy to attach, tie a 3 inch double overhand loop, then tie another one actually on the original loop. Then cut the top loop so it can't snag on anything. Then simply pass the mainline through the remaining loop creating a noose and tighten behind the crows foot. To remove pull the tags rom the cut loop.

That's actually really difficult to explain!
