I never use stonfos, I just use crowsfoot, but I make the knot with a small length of slightly thicker, different coloured elastic to give a sight tip.

Most of my canal tops have number 3 vespe in them, with tensioner bungs. These are fine for most squat applications in my opinion, set softer for smaller fish/shallow water.

Got a couple of number 2s, for really shallow water or see through fish.

Number 4 vespe for caster or hemp.

Middy 6-8 for choppy

Started off on 2/3 latex but switched to vespe no2 and was much better seems to retract better into the pole tip.
Middy green and purple also very good.
