morning all

first can i say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to every who turned up yesterday , the total raised so far with still more to come £5769 , a fantastic amount for one day ,
there is still more to come in and we have not taken into account the gift aid forms as yet , for those who filled those in thank you ,

as for the result , i have the ist and second places here now and will post a full result later as i have to go back to lindholme to pick some stuff up and il pick full results up them

1st B WALTERS 78LB OFF THE BONSIA
2ND J ALLERTON 64LB 15OZ PEG 1 ON THE STRIP

ALL RAFLE PRIZES ARE NOW CLAIMED

i have just one thing to add for now ,
that conerns all the no shows , poeple who have booked places and not bothered to turn up on the day , for those who did let me know , well done and thank you ,

yesterday we had 80 people who just didnt bother , this has cost the charity at least £800 ,

because of this folks next years match will be by ticket paid in advance with a £10 deposit made payable to the charity , then pay your pegging fees and pools on the day

and has anyone got a maver resolution pole going for spares , i broke mine yesterday

thanks for a great day kev. i was going to suggest the pay in advance idea then will be better pegging next year. also the raffle might need a look at because some got dozens of prizes while others got nowt. my suggestion is to keep just the top number off each strip in the draw so you can only win one prize for your pound rather than two or three as happened.only a suggestion not a criticism you gave everyone a great experience and i will be back for more. well done mate.

I agree with CT's point on paying in advance and then knowing the pegs required for the match. If anglers then don't turn up at least they've paid and if your lucky enough to be next peg to a no show then so be it. Roll on next year.

go to my website in the merchandise section , there is a form to download and return to the address with payment mate

we will get it sorted asap there is over 20 hrs of film of yesterday off 3 crews , when thats done its going down to the sky sports studies for keith arther to do his bit m then should be out on sale about a week after that ,
get your orders in now , looks set to be a cracker , just hope they havnt got me breaking my pole !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first let me say i will listen to any suggestions and i know not a criticism

intresting idea mate , but totally unfair , if you buy a strip of 5 tickets you have 5 chances , it was the same for all taking part , its just the way the tickets came out , its bound to happen , and if you had won 5 prizes you would have been very happy ,
last year i had £40 of tickets and never had a sniff .

keep the ideas coming though i will listen to all , always looking to make things better

I also agree with the idea of the deposit of a tenner why should the charity loose out.

A well deserved cause which touches all our hearts some time in our lives.
