Hi mate,
Fished a fir and feather last year their. The winning weight was about 70+lb,all taken on sweetcorn. He drew on the back wall opposite the corner of the island[a noted winter flier]Sorry i cant remember any peg numbers. My mate was second with approx 40+lb off about peg 3.He used pellet.I was next only 1lb behind second, and i lost a double figure fish through bullying because i was playing it when the whistle blew.I fished pellet over slop.I drew past peg 3 going towards the first corner, incidentially the pegs in the corner went dry.I was about 2 before the corner. The carp average 2lb but go up to double figures. One thing i noticed is they didnt put up much of a fight,so you dont need to fish too heavy.I fished about 10 metres out.I pleasure fished there and caught close in.On the day of the match i couldnt catch close,so fished down the shelf at 10 metres, and followed them down when they backed off. When it went dead i refed slop and pellets and they came back. One bait i didnt bother with was sweetcorn, the winners bait.So it could be worth taking. On the far bank are pigs,so watch your pole if you peg along there.Sorry i couldnt be help more with peg numbers, best of luck,
cornerstone.

ive fished it a few times this year and caught alot of fish.usually peg 1 to 7 fish well and peg 12 to 18.fish about 8 matres out.ive had my best days with red meat and corn.its deep about 7 to 8 foot.pellets are ok but they usually slow down in the cold but for reason you still catch good on meat and corn this time of year.GOOD LUCK

Didn't do any good on sunday twenty of us fished. 20lbs won the match peg 25. On pellet and bronze maggots.I'v been told it has not fished to well the past few weeks. Also pegs between 17 to 25 seem to be winning the matches. Cheers for your help guys
