Default Winter Fishing

Just after some info on fishing in the winter as in can carp still be caught in the late winter months when it is really cold or do they still get caught every now and again, also what is he best approach for a match ie carp or bag up on silvers?

all depends on peg your in the carp will shoal up and its a case of finding a feature to fish to and casting around it and watching for line bites, if you get liners you know theres fish/carp in your swim from the off, if not you could be snookered and looking to build a weight on silvers

im same as kev when it comes to feeder work for carp during winter, i go for a low oil pellet with a grain of corn or 2 hair rigged

The only thing I will add I always cook the corn to make it softer even Green Giant.
