I have been in the exact same situation twice....

The first time I went fishing and refused to give in... luckly the baby didnt come that day anyway so I avoided the divorce!

Second time I gave in and stayed at home, better watch what I say just in case the missis reads the forum without me knowing, but staying at home yes it does earn you brownie points at the time but this is soon forgotten (like women do) anyway they then take this as an indication that you will stay at home in the future for other lesser events like christenings, weddings, funerals, shopping, days out, mowing the lawn, putting up shelves etc..... trust me - put your foot down - go buy an extra pay as you go phone so you have two with you and promise her you will pack up and be there asap if she does go into labor! Don't give in it will be the beginning of the slippery slope!

Oh and Cheryl if you are reading this then my account has obviously been hacked into by some unscruplous type trying to get me into trouble. x x x x
