The best trick in the book is for when it is freezing cold and nobody has had a bite ....

just go up the bank and dig out a big chunk of turf with grass on it, stones, worms the lot... the bigger the better and lob it into your peg .... give it two minutes after the laughter has died down and then put your rig in and catch some fish.... watch those that then laughed at you! The faces will be priceless!

Oh and this is not a joke - I have done it on at least ten occassions and never failed to catch over it.

Now you know why they have fishing barrows.

(Only man hunts for food and for fun and if you know better then kill it and eat that too).

always strike just BEFORE your float moves that way you never miss a bite!!!!

Think you could have something there, many times i have struck when my float has moved and i`ve hooked a fish.

Then my float always moves dont know if its All the fish in my swim or just my eyes that keep moving.
