Default rod licence

did you see in AT this week
Keith Arthur calling a blanket boycott on rod licences
it all stems from the government cutting funding for DEFRA

WHAT DO YOU THINK
GOOD IDEA OR BAD ?

It's not a boycott on the licence we need, it's a new government that cares for the people of this country and our traditions

This is Keiths hobby horse I am sure he has suggested this several times before, it fails because we want to fish, fishing without a licence is illegal.
Ok we can boycott buying a licence for a period of time, and spend the time not fishing doing jobs around the house and garden etc and whilst a few might accept that, the vast majority wont.

know what you mean, cant see Keith offering to coff up for all the fines
he has a valid point over the cash cuts, but not buying a licence would just be bad press and there are enough anti,s sticking the knife in without giving them more ammo
eerrrrrr fishing verses jobs round the house, no contest i think.
