Morning Chaps,

Just wondering if anyone has fished this stretch of the Avon lately? Actually, it's not exactly the Lido, more the Swan's Neck and the swims either side...had a little dabble a few days back with just a couple of roach showing.

Anybody got any tips on tactics? Had a brief chat with a guy who said the odd barbel turns up there but he didn't know that much about the stretch.

Any help appreciated, PM if preferred. Happy to reciprocate if any help needed with other stretches on the Avon.

If i were you i would keep walking past the swans neck this time of year and fish about 15 pegs to the right were there is a island that splits the river the peg is superb you can run a big stick down the side of the island to catch roach and chub every run down
