hi kobra method feeders are one of the best brand of method feeders in both inline and elasticated kobra also market a feeder with black hydro
groundbait for the method as to be fine with a low oil fishmeal content
ringers mix sensas crazybait gold dynamite baits method mix or swimstim are all fantastic method groundbaits last year anglers fished soaked micro pellets
around a method feeder instead of grounbait the idea behind this was that the pellets would hold carp in the peg alot longer I used dynamite baits 1mm swim stim green pellets to good effect
always fish corn meat pellets and boilles on a hair rig and dead maggots direct on the hook try to sink the line without moving the feeder as this defeats the object of fishing the method feeder

Hi, i use Korum elasticated feeders or the inline version. Elastic is prestons flouro slip, but i change this to prestons hollow (easy to do) either 13 or 15 (this gives you more of a chance should you hook a dinosaur). For feed i use Sonu baits 2mm feed pellets soaked for 2mins. Once soaked they will not come off the feeder (no matter how hard you press them on) untill they are in the water. At this time of year i use a prestons pr36, an eyed version in sizes 18-16. All bait is hair rigged, corn, meat, 8-10mm boilles,4mm pellets x 2 or 1 x 6mm. First put a good hand full of 2mm pellets in the palm of your hand and place the feeder on to it, push down firmly, place your hook bait in the middle of your feeder on top of the pellets, get another hand full of 2mm pellets and push the feeder (with hook bait) on to them. Now you can press harder. When done remove excess pellets from the edge with your finger and hey presto, done!!
If you want to try groundbait, use Sonu baits fishmeal or swimstim natural. It can be tricky to get the right consistancy with g'bait, but once you have the hang of it you can try other g'baits. I would suggest the pellets first it is a simple and effective method.
Good luck
Martin
