I believe it can be confiscated, bet they would take salmon nets.

E.A at manor farm today they had one from our match can't see the sense in fishing all year looking over you shoulder

Have no pity for them what so ever, they should have there tackle confiscated full stop and the EA should start doing it know.
I know they can because they have done it a couple of times

Some fishing holiday parks in the UK tell you that you must have a valid license to be able to fish their lakes on your holiday, they stand to lose hundreds by stating this to anglers who can't be bothered to buy one so why can't the owners or baliffis of fisheries check for one before allowing a person to fish, also there is no need to ban the club because of one person but if the club is any good they will have checked already that everyone had a valid license before booking the lake etc.
