most of the lads on the canal have started to use the new novatech, it is very low diameter but strong.

That sounds like Fox Micro Plus, which is the same as the old Pro Micron. It is not a new brand, though, so perhaps a different manufacturer has copied the idea?

Personally, I use Sensas Feeling. The diameters are pretty good and I've also found it to be reasonably sturdy line.
It may not be quite so tough as the likes of Preston Powerline, but at least my hooks stay tied! lol

Garbolino Garbo line is very good,It's tough and durable, but supple, the diameters are as stated and it comes on nice compact spools.

i use three Lot's of line fox micro Garbo line Preston power line they are all top notch for me on the pole, the only problem i have had using Garbo line 6lb on my reel . is when i am waggler fishing and i have a good carp on of about 9 to 10lb it would snap just like that... i have had no problems with any other line just this one and i know it's not me but it does not do it when i am using it on the pole the line is brill for the pole but not so good for the reel.. (maybe it was a bad batch of line who knows)

for the feeder,im using 0.16 maver genisis.truly awesome stuff. for the pole im using browning cenitan,in 0.14 main and 0.12 for hooklenghts.its seriously strong gear,as i had a 15lb 4 oz common on sunday!! for the waggler or general float work,im using browning match line in 0.13,fast sinking, and jet black.
