Default Go Fishing Show 2008

Just after booking the tickets there. We're coming over on the ferry on Friday and going to the show on the Saturday. Is it worth the money? I know you can now buy stuff at it which should be good. I'm after a second Daiwa Connoiseur Ultra and a pair of front drag Stradic 4000s. Is there a good chance of picking these up at the show or should I try some of the tackle shops around? Nathans of Deby is only around half an hour from where I'm staying

It's a good day out to have a bit of a poke aroud at new kit and wave a few poles. Some of the talks by 'experts' are ok, although they can be a bit basic.

I wouldn't set your hopes too high on getting good bargains though, a lot of the shops stands have the same prices as in their shops.

In the last few years I have found a few of the big name manufacturers don't go anymore, personally I probably won't go any more unless it changs.

If you're after good price tackle try The Big One, or Chatsworth Fair.
