I looked at one in Fishing Republic yesterday, I thought it was a great deal at £300, if you are on a tight budget it's probably the best in it's price range & all the angling papers have tested it and given great reviews

bought a maver 101 the other day and to be honest i can't believe what you get for your money now. i have just started pole fishing again, after 7 years off, and i reckon the 101 would have cost £800 back then. Very light for £320 and with all the spare tops you get i think it definately worth looking at. Fairly comfortable to hold at 13m and excellent at 11m, there's even the option to purchase a short no.4 section (£60), which i'm told will increase the strength when broken down to this section and give extra repsonse when fishing at 13m. The walls are a little thin and so this pole needs to be well looked after, but that's the case with most mavers i have held. £320 is a lot of money to me and this pole and i'm glad i got a pole this good for that price!
