a bandend pellet on the hook. dont use a loaded pellet wagller unless you have to, to reach the distance needed. if you finding it hit and miss try with a tale 3 foot long then go up if you gettingliners and down if you havent had a knock after half hour.

I think the art of pellet waggler fishing is down to feeding. You need to get the fish competing for food. The fish come to the splash/ plop of the pellet, float over the top, feed, twitch it back, feed, if no joy recast, feed, but keep feeding. It may be a few pellets at a time to keep the noise going in. It may also take a while to get them going,so be warned.

I Have Fished This Method Quite A Lot And Won Matches With It, I Try To Aim To Feed About 12 Pellets A Time To Alert The Fish, Onec They Start To Feed I Reduce This To About 5 Pellets Every Min, Start At 3 Foot Deep And Then Shallow Up Once The Fish Are Feeding, The Art Is To Keep Feeding While You Are Playing The Fish, I Tend To Use A 6mm Swimstim Pellet, I Feed The Same Pellet As I Band Onto The Hook, As Keith Said It Takes Time To Get Them Going Dont Be Put Off If You Are Not Catching But Others Are, Once The Fish Start Feeding In Your Peg This Method Can Be Deadly, Hope This Helps
