Just one week to go till we set off for the mighty river Shannon so I'm starting to get giddy . Anyone else going in the near future

Where on Shannon Richie? This time of year you need to be on one of the migratory spots like Portumna and hope you hit the huge roach shoals. Weve done first week in May for the last 5yrs but due to the bad weather last 2yrs were going July this year to Gowna once again, I love the place.

Yeah , well be fishing a section at portumna town then Melik and salmon run so just hope we time it right . Plenty of the black stuff if we cant catch
