I've fished it a fair bit, was for world championships trials though, so was all worm and joker.

Was a while ago, but pellet feeder sorted out the bream, and caster on the long pole used to get the roach and skimmers queueing up.

A lot of big carp, which the bivvy boys fish with boilies for.I fished it regularly about 6 years ago.Maggot and groundbait for the skimmers.Caster for the roach. Also some nice tench in there.dont night fish on your own.I remember some carp anglers getting cs gassed and having there tackle nicked. You should be ok in the daytime though.personally i very rarely fish bham parks anymore, unless im in company.

Default salford park

its one of the best park lakes i have fished i tend to fish a big wag
at distance and feed balls of groundbait and fish maggott or corn hookbaits but you always get smashed up at some stage by one of the carp .
alot of people fish the method for the bream with a fishmeal groundbait and pellet hook bait.
but as already been said its very rough and be carefull as alot of cars get broke into

It's the traffic noise that spoils it for me! Being under spaghetti junction. I try to block it out but gets to me after a while, so I dont bother, but generally its been known as a good fishery over the years.

>... I fish them, BUT select some old tackle that looks like it isnt worth anything.. perfectly functional though ) AND I keep my wits about me. Pays to get to know any regulars on the pool I find, which is easily done. Makes me feel more comfortable having some back up around ! But no good if its an odd visit. Terrible it has to be like that though.
