Richie.

i use Molasses as both a flavouring and a light binder.

I buy mine from a horse feed shop in a 5 litre container.

To use i add approx 1/4 pt molasses to 1 pint of hot water, the hot water helps to mix the two together then just add to groundbait as normal.

Equimins liquid Molosses is what you want a gallon will cost you a fiver and last you a couple of seasons, you need to go as Lee said to a feed store the same would cost you a few hundred in little bottles from a tackle shop

I used to do real well with this many years ago especially when you didnt want to add too much feed to your groundbait the skimmers love it

one word of warning your peg will be wasp city they can track it down from miles away, they get in your groundbait and its easy to get stung.

Thanks lads . I'm going to give it a go in Ireland but i've already bought half dozen bottles . First sign of wasps and i'm off , not been stung ever so i'm not going to risk it to catch a few fish . lol

Very good. It's not fishing too bad over here. Had a nice bag from the Shannon on Thursday. Seems the fish are just getting ready to run. Icy wind now though
