There is a new one just in the process of being launched which I'm involved with in a small way.
You can find it HERE.
It's very much in its infancy, but as with all these type of ventures, it's very much dependant on the input of the fisheries and match organisers, which may prove to be the stumbling block.

Hi, i'm new here. Been a keen angler for 30 years but just getting back into it after a 4 year lay off.

Just to add to this thread, I also ride Motorcycles in Trials (kickstart if you can remember that) there is a really good website thats been set up along a similar line to what most people are asking for on this thread.

Click Trials Central to have a look.
How it works is clubs and organisers of Trials simply register to the site (free) then add details of where and when etc, then results are posted after the event, which is just basically what we need regarding matches.

It obviously takes a while to get going but the more people you could get to go along with it the better it would end up, for anyone thinking of running a similar website for match results I would suggest you have a look at that site.

We actually have the facility here for entering and storing open matches http://www.talkangling.co.uk/upload/calendar.php

It seems to work quite well I noticed a few have already been entered so added a few more, Im not sure if it was oneabungs intention for the calender to be used in this manner but it works well.

All it would need is one delegate from each area Southern Midlands North etc to add the required data, a link from the match planner to the results page to a dedicated place holder to each venue is all thats required.

Also oneabung has implemented a results service here http://www.talkangling.co.uk/results/
it just needs to be used

we just need a few volounteers to keep up to date with the data input and it could be filled in quite quickly
