Default sticky maggots

i read about a new tactic using horlicks and a spray of water to make sticky maggots is this true and any tips for me please

not heard of that mate but can imagine that your hands would get really sticky to, just pva the maggots, will get the same thing i would think.

not horlicks. but sensas and milo both do a sticky mag, i usually use the sensas one.

Horlicks was a trick from a long time back it does work, there is another product that is used in brewing beer that was even better I will try to dig out the name I think it was brewers yeast but wiull have to check its a 10th of the cost of sticky mag

It does woork mate, a word of warning though, your maggots need to be CLEAN. Riddle them a few times, then use a flour sieve to get off as much maize as possible. Then stick them into a big bucket, wet your hand and run it through the aggots. The crud will stick to your hand, rinse your hand and repeat until the baits clean.

Would you recommend putting some small gravel in with it? Going to be fishing a big lake(normally only speci anglers) and thinking of fishing the slider, don't want the spread too much from the surface as lake average is about 16 feet. Pole not best idea as gin clear.
