Jethro - I understand your misgivings regarding the feedback on the Polar Ice feed Pellets. However, there is a perfectly good reason for the feedback coming from our sponsored anglers (who are only encourged to give truthul feedback, we don't need to have outlandish claims made regarding our products, the proof in their ability to help catch fish is proven by the product's performance). This being, that until next week these pellets are not for sale in the shops yet. Only those anglers who have been sampled have given feedback, no staff employed by Carp Vader have made any comments on this or any other product.

We value the feedback our sponsored anglers give us and always take on board any critiscism both positive and negative. This is what helps us produce unique and quality bait.

Jethro, being a geordie myself I don't understand tight fistedness, however, my wife's family are from yorkshire and it only becomes apparant at Christmas and birthdays!!! I am sure in time there will be some feedback on here from those who have no connection with Carp Vader and who will also give their honest opinion regarding the new pellets.

This in no way is critisism how can it be they aren't even on sale yet, Just saying I prefer hearing how good a product is from people with no hidden agenda, Sponsored anglers, Staff, or Stockists all have allegiances to some one or other.
I eagerly await an unbiased opinion as before it's still nothing against you or you're company as Ive said. Jethro.

Jethro - Please don't think that your comments were taken as criticism, it's not a bad thing to be cautious, especially where spending money is concerned

Thank you for your opinion and you have a PM

Well I have been using these white pellets, and Im not a carp vader sponsered angler

I was going to wait a little longer before I put pen to paper my post my findings as 3 or 4 outings isnt really a good enough

So far I have fished 3 matches using them, and done various tests in house.

So far I can honestly say I like them, the hookers stay on the hook and that for me is a critical key point.

One thing I like about the feed pellets is they sink at different speeds because they are slightly rougher than most other pellets they seem to trap small air bubbles on their surface, but none float they all sink even some I had in a bait box in full sunlight for a few hours sunk,

I have also managed to pump the feed pelets and made them hookable a litte trial and error and I got that sorted.

I bought a job lot of these, around 10 buckets all different sizes I have nearly run out of the 4 mm and halfway through the micro the larger ones I have not tried yet.

The fishing itself, as this is based on 3 matches some of my findings maybe circumstantial and what happened may have happened using any other pellet

The two matches at Colemans fishery essex resulted in me bagging much bigger fish than those around me, and I got an almost intsant response on feeding them, so much so that I dont know if I can do a side by side test with another pellet as my confidence with the white ones is such that I dont want to put another type of pellet in my swim especially on carp waters.

The second boundary was Lake John its a heavily populated water with weights mainly made up of skimmers to around 1.5 pounds, Its a groundbait off the cup boundry, I loaded up my first 3 kilo of grounbait with around half a kilo of micro pellets

I caught a lot of fish again 58lb just out the frame but had quite a few problems with the skimmers up in the water many foul hooked fish and despite many hard balls of groundbait I couldnt get them on the deck where I wanted them.
once again I had bigger fish than normall having one or two bream around the 4lb mark

its hard to say if its the pellets or just the peg on the day but Im getting more and more confident in them and one things for sure you certinly dont catch any less

I will post a little more after wednesday's match and when im less tired

JC

So far, I have used the Polar Ice Hookers in 4mm and 6mm, and also the Breamax and Schnitzel Wurst hookers. I have had most success so far and built up a lot of confidence in the White Polar Ice Pellets. As JC says they stay on the hook which is a good starting point. The consistency of the pellet is excellent, so too is the coconut smell that emminates (spelling?) from them. But the main quality I personally feel that makes this product a winner is purely down to that vivid bread-like white colour.

I have fished two club matches now using the hookers shallow for small carp and barbel, and also on the deck on Sunday for tench and bream. In the first match I came third with 18lb 9oz and on Sunday I finished 2nd, by 4oz, with 20lb 2oz.

I don't claim that Carp Vader have produced a "miracle" bait here, but they have definately got a quality product that certainly catches fish. And for that reason alone, I will be keeping these products in my tackle box. As with JC I have had only a small amount of time "testing" these pellets, and I have a bucket of tthe feed pellets ordered to try those also. I will keep you all updated on progress. Next match is 25th May, but I have a couple of pleasure sessions planned in the meantime.

can i just say ,i have read with intrest the latest threads

yes i am a carp vader sponsored angler and yes i suppose you could say i have a intrest to promote these pellets,
but having had a few chats with vicky at cv , she will know that i would not put my name to these pellets if they wasnt any good i would just not bother with the write ups at all ,
i have given a few anglers some of what i have had to trial , they have fished with me all last week ,
the results they have had have been just the same as what i have had ,
they have no ties with cv at all , in fact one of them is sponsored by another company who i shall not name , but he was very impressed indeed ,

the biggest thing i noticed as ive said is that the quality and size of the fish i had last week was far beter than most around was catching ,

but please be under no illutions i would not promote something i was not convident in or convinced that they worked and made a differance .

thanks
kev
