do you reckon that if the final was to be held at night every year people would not apply for tickets.

i understand that you still get to be crowned fisho champ if you win and pick up 25k but this has lost the magic for me.

I'd heard alot of people complained that des shipp was not tv friendly so they tried the page 3 girls with him last year but to no success so this year its darkness for him :-)

This is in fact all down to sky television, You would think fishing is the one sport they cannot tamper with. Apparently all the fishermen will be there from early morning for the draw, then members of the public will be asking questions of the finalists on how they will tackle there particular peg etc.

So as you can imagine the poor sods will be as nervous as hell before the match, lets hope they extend the prize money if this format is successful, so they will pay three prizes instead of only one.

Well they are always moving the footy matches for tv but moving the fishing, its all a bit mad if you ask me.
