Brings back memories, I used to fish the small lily pond at the back as a junior member of Hinckley AC. Never got to fish the res, shame.

I do remember it was a hell of a walk(mind you i was only 10), used to fish off the bank to the right of the dam wall, had a tench of 3 3/4lb, huge fish when that age. Would love to give it a go again

I fished the lily pond too, think it's a syndicate water now? I looked at the res maybe 4/5 years ago and there was a guy on the dam catching really well on the pole, getting loads of skimmers and roach. I think its still a BW water, and is on a yearly ticket, which is a shame, I'd love a day or two on it again!
