Default Pole chair?

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is such thing as a pole fishing chair? Not a seat box with a back rest (Conti box) but a chair with a back rest - simular to a carp fishermans chair.

Would it be possible to fish using a pole whilst sat in a chair?

Its just that I find a get a few aches and pains in my back after about five or six hours fishing and was wondering if a chair would make any difference?

Thank you, in advance.

Jazzman have you tried a spray bar set high, you can use it as a rest and lean gently on your pole as it sits on your knee, there is no weight no leaning back and for me when fishing long for long periods of time no aches

Never seen pole chair I would have thought in a chair your in a completely wrong position for pole fishing and it would possibly lead to more aches

hi mate
i've seen matt hayes pole fishing from a chair, several times on tv, but looks very awkward, i would stick to a box, or rod and line from a chair. much more comfortable.

Default Pole Chair

Thanks all.

Asked at tackle shop this PM. Was told may be way I'm sitting could be cause of back pain!

Will try rest bar and seating position to see if these help at all.

I was looking for something along the same lines last year when i had a slipped disc, searching on line i found a shop in Holland that did a rive box with a plastic seat on the top of it that swivelled round, unfortunately i have checked my bookmarks and can no longer find it, but thought i t was a great idea. If you know anyone in Holland, may be worth asking them.
